We only work with investors who have a connection to Nangu It is important to our vision to only work with people who are invested into the Nangu vision. This means that you can not simply buy Nangu stock and have no further relationship with Nangu. If you decide to invest, you buy into Nangu, all in. And you commit to support Nangu in achieving its mission.
Nangu’s vision is to create a replicable model that establishes communities in tropical countries, to restore degraded land and convert it into productive food forests. Nangu will exist as a network of worker-owned enterprises. Nangu touches many topics in life, from creating a regenerative agricultural environment, to addressing issues around landless farming, to providing an environment where Nangu members can live a dignified and meaningful life. Nangu applies an integrated approach to providing a sustainable model of living in the future. Our investment philosophy aligns with this. There are two main areas where you can join Nangu and have a meaningful impact.
Nangu economic activities Economic activities are the areas of the Nangu network which generate revenue. This could be the financing of Nangu-owned land and everything that is required to farm this land in a regenerative way. It can be investments in processing enterprises or distribution operations. It also can be investments into the Nangu technology services which provide technological services to Nangu network members. As an investor in these activities, your investments will be backed by the land or facilities which are built. There are several models in which you can participate in the economic activities of Nangu. They are highlighted below.
Who: Patient capital
Nangu R&D and Nangu Care Nangu R&D and Care are areas that are crucial for the Nangu network to succeed. This includes research into creating dignifying living environments at scale, research into poverty, landless farmers, and economic stability within the Nangu network. In addition, you can invest in Nangu's learning journey program. the investments into Nangu R&D and Nangu care will not provide direct returns. They instead allow you to be part of leading-edge research into building regenerative economies of scale.
Who: Family offices
Crowdfunding We will launch several crowd-funding campaigns to 1. Raise awareness for Nangu, 2. Build the Nangu movement and allow people from all over the world to participate and 3. Provide funding to several specific verticals within the Nangu network.
Loans Under certain circumstances, we are willing to fund certain Nangu activities and ventures with loans. The terms need to be structured in a way that these loans can not corrupt Nangu activities at scale. Investors who have access to patient capital will likely be a good match to work with us. In addition to traditional terms, we also offer the ability to pay back loans with future Nangu products.
Shares Investors can also invest directly in Nangu enterprises. By investing in a Nangu enterprise, investors gain a percentage of shares that allow investors to partake in profit distribution for the duration those shares are owned by the investor. Investors can never own more than 30% of any enterprise in the Nangu network and returns can not exceed 3x. Once returns have reached the cap, the shares flow back into the enterprise.
